A downloadable game for Windows

This short demo was created as part of our second semester at DE:HIVE Berlin.

Supa Pupa is a 2D platformer in side view. The game's setting is an alien world where the balance of nature has been disrupted. You take on the role of a small caterpillar that cannot move on its own without external help. Thanks to your mysterious adaptability, however, you can attract the attention of native creatures. With their help, you can be carried, rolled, and even launched!

But be cautious, as the foreign planet you find yourself on holds many dangers.
So, stay alert and don't rush, because with some patience and the application of your curious powers, nothing will be able to stop you.

10/10 beetles.

The blurr in the settings is too strong.

The inverted direction causes discomfort.

The hud at the bottom left of the screen is uncomfortable and confusing.

In general, the game looks nice, the animations are not bad.

Waiting for the release.

This game looks pretty and has a interesting premise (mostly going off from the description on the page here-), while I don't know how the difficulty, the environments, and the hazards will be like in the later levels of the game. So far I am definitely interested in the full game! Everything works well, albeit, the rolling bug does seem a little inconsistent when it launches the caterpillar after charging up its spin. However, that could just be me not positioning it right?

I'll keep my eye on this game...

Thanks for playing our game! The rolling bug (or "Dungus" as we coined it) is still a bit rough to control including its spin. This would get reworked in a future build (if we decide to expand the project).

Hopefully development continues smoothly, comrade!
